At the end of 1910 "Le Matin", the most important daily newspaper of the time in France, offered to the famous French writer Colette a column, giving her carte blanche in the choice of her subjects. With her exceptional gift of observation, her way of understanding people and things outside of all preconceived ideas allowed her to render their unparalleled expression in her articles.
